Signs it may be perimenopause.

Perimenopause can show up as changes in cycles, sleep, mood, energy, temperature regulation and body composition, often years before periods stop, and often in ways that get dismissed. Hormones can influence nearly every aspect of how you feel, from energy and sleep to mood, body composition, sexual health and overall well-being.

There is no single test that gives a yes-or-no answer, so we look at your symptoms, your history and appropriate lab work together.

What happens at your first visit.

Treatment options.

Therapy may include bioidentical hormone therapy and other evidence-based approaches tailored to your stage of life, including hormone pellet therapy. Some women are good candidates for hormone therapy, some do better with a different approach first, and some need a conversation about risks before anything else. We assess each person individually and never promise an outcome.

What it costs.

Rise Well is cash pay and does not bill insurance. We can give you a superbill to submit yourself. See the full price list.

Common questions.

General answers, not medical advice. Your answer depends on you.

How do I know if I'm in perimenopause?

Perimenopause can show up as changes in cycles, sleep, mood, energy, temperature regulation, and body composition, often years before periods stop. There is no single test that gives a yes-or-no answer, so we look at your symptoms, history, and appropriate lab work together. A consultation is where we sort out what is happening and what might help.

Am I a candidate for hormone therapy?

Candidacy depends on your symptoms, your health history, and lab work, not your age alone. Some people are good candidates for hormone therapy, some do better with a different approach first, and some need a conversation about risks before anything else. A consultation is where we sort out what fits you.

Can I take estrogen if I have a family history of breast cancer?

Sometimes, and sometimes not. A family history changes the conversation but does not automatically end it. The answer depends on your personal history, the specifics of that family history, and an honest discussion of risks and benefits. A consultation is where that conversation starts.

Do you offer telehealth for hormone care?

Yes. In-clinic and telehealth visits are available. Labs are drawn in the clinic.
